I've noticed a new trend in the photography world: buying DSLR cameras. It doesn't matter how good the person behind the camera is, they just all want a DSLR because that way, they can fit in in the blogging world. I can't even begin to say how much this latest trend annoys me. There are so many girls willing to blow hundreds of dollars on a camera that definitely won't make you a good photographer. If you can't take good pictures with a point-and-shoot, you won't be able to take good pictures with a DSLR.
To be honest, I used to want one. And then I realized that I can take great pictures without it. And anyone *should* be able to. And I don't want to join the group of bloggers buying expensive cameras. I want to be the one blogger that says she's different... and actually is.
Will anyone join me?
