But, I did spend far less time on the internet, which was my goal. I spent most of my time getting ready for the 4-H fair, showing at the fair, sewing, cooking, reading, writing (over 2k--typically I don't write at all at this time of year), gardening, canning, freezing, planning for next year's fair, blog designing (not a lot), and babysitting. So yes, July was quite busy for me. A lot of my spare time was spent sewing. I've really learned a lot about sewing lately, and I'm planning to make myself a few skirts soon.
Overall, I felt like I spent my time fairly well in July. Yes, there were several days when I definitely could have managed my time better, but oh, well.
In the last two weeks or so, I've changed some of my online habits quite a lot. I cleaned off the list of blogs that I follow, and narrowed it down to only blogs that glorify God and help me in my walk with Him. I also made the decision to leave a collab blog that I'm on.
I haven't played the piano hardly at all lately. I'm on a break from lessons for two months (I start back in September), but I was hoping I'd keep playing. I really need to find something new to play--maybe some Tchaikovsky? I'm currently listening to a Pride & Prejudice soundtrack that is simply amazing. Now if only I could find sheet music...
So, I only had two entries in the actual Unplugged giveaway. But several more people actually did it, and I'm just glad I got someone to do it. Hopefully it helped those of you that just tried. :)
I do have one final request before I announce the winners, though. If you attempted the Unplugged challenge, how did it go? What did you do for the time that you usually spent online? I'm just curious, and I'd love to know how it went for you.
So without further ado...
