trust and obey

For some reason, it's hard for me to trust God. Why? I don't know.
Maybe I just want to be in control of my future, even though God's will is best.

I've found quite a few verses in Psalms lately that are quite motivating.
Ps. 4:5: "Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord."
Ps. 9:10: "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee."
Ps. 18:30 (my favorite): "As for God, his way is perfect: the way of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust him."
Ps. 25:2: "O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me."

And how are we supposed to obey him if we can't trust him? Is that even possible?

To truly obey God, we have to trust him. His way is ALWAYS best, even when it doesn't look like it.
He knows everything about us, and he'll only deny us the desires of our heart if he has something much better in mind.
So let Go(d).
