May... or almost, anyway

Today's the last day of April, as I'm sure y'all know. This morning was rainy, so you can probably guess what I did as soon as it stopped raining.
(at least, you should be able to guess, if you know me at all)

I love May. Orange and black kittens yawning sleepily as I step onto the porch, fresh veggies from the garden making their way to the table, practicing rabbit breed ID for the 4-H fair, finally finishing school for the year.
Rainy mornings are the best. Warm brownies, sleeping in (occasionally, anyway), rain pitter-patting on the roof...
And lazy Sunday afternoons for Shakespeare. Aah.

"The grey-eyed morn smiles on the frowning night,
Check'ring the Eastern clouds with streaks of light;
And flecked darkness like a drunkard reels
From forth day's path and Titan's fiery wheels.
Now, ere the sun advance his burning eye
The day to cheer and night's dank dew to dry,
I must up-fill this osier cage of ours
With baleful weeds and precious-juiced flowers.
The earth that's nature's mother is her tomb.
What is her burying grave that is her womb;
And from her womb children of divers kind
We sucking on her natural bosom find;
Many for many virtues excellent,
Non but for some, and yet all different."

(wasn't that guy genius? I just ordered the complete works of Shakespeare on eBay. Can't wait for them to get here!)

I love my life.
